Not just another bookkeeper, I am a business manager and I am able to bring a unique combination of education and professional experience to my clients. Having completed a Bachelor of Business degree (majoring in Accounting and minor in Management) I have continued to acquire skills in positions of employment, and further education adding a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and a Diploma of Real Estate.
While keeping place with technological and professional advancements adding BAS Agent qualifications, Xero Partner and Payroll certifications and membership of the Australian Bookkeeper Network and Australian Bookkeeper Association to ensure our practice keeps abreast with compliance and regulations requirements.
My professional experience has been gained in key positions, including Manager of Deloittes and Lecturer at TAFE and Edith Cowan University, with experience in Financial Management, Professional Accounting, Operations Management, Software Implementation & Support, Training, Procedure & Process Management, Distribution & Marketing.
Lexie has over 30 years’ experience of Bookkeeping and Administrative roles in a variety of business sectors including Hardware & Electrical Retail, Building & Construction, Pearling, Furniture Importation and Hospitality.
Lexie’s experience extends through small, medium to large businesses allowing her the bring a broad skill set and understanding through working with a range of business and management styles which she is able to apply to her bookkeeping role. Lexie is an enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised person with an excellent attention to detail and has worked with a variety of accounting packages including XERO, MYOB, QuickBooks and custom Point of Sale systems.
After over 20 years living and working in Broome and the Northwest, Lexie and her family relocated to Busselton at the beginning of 2017 and are loving their new life era in the Southwest.
